Match Report Press Report

Wykeham 4 Beat Winchester 6.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 60 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Arif Faizi.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 3 string, Tim Bailey, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 4 string, Chris Lucas, who over-turned a 390 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
